The hotel is tucked away up a side street and is totally unspoilt with fantastic original architecture but the hotel is clean and atmospheric and our room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly - this is real Spain - we spoke no Spanish and they spoke little English but you get bye - that's the fun of holidays like this.

We spent Christmas weekend at a historical hotel. The atmosphere was grand and festive with lovely decorations and cozy fireplaces throughout. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the option of an à la carte menu instead of the buffet. The location was perfect for exploring the town and nearby attractions.
While the room was comfortable, the bathroom was small and had some unpleasant odors. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to the narrow lanes and limited options.

The hotel was ideally situated in the centre of town with its own secure car parking nearby. The restaurant in the hotel was very good as was the breakfast.

Well placed in a quiet location in the old town. Current renovations of the building opposite the hotel, when finished, will enormously improve the area. The room was fine and the non-working fridge was promptly replaced for us. Having read other negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the range of the breakfast. Secure parking was available a short distance away,
We ate off the menu del dia and wouldn't recommend it. Some food was barely warm. There was not a great choice of restaurants in Guadix but we did have an excellent (but expensive) meal at the Abentofail Hotel.

This place is a gorgeous hotel with beautifully restored furnishings. The staff here were very friendly and helpful despite my imperfect Spanish. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the town, making it easy to go about on foot. The bed was very comfortable and the bath tub had lots of hot water. Additionally, the on-site cafe/bar offers great smoothies and lattes, making it a perfect spot for a quick pick-me-up.
This hotel needs an update as some fixtures and fittings are old and tatty. The wellness area, although big and varied, lacks some maintenance and can get crowded since it's open to the public.

This hotel is located in a very convenient spot, just a short walk from the city center and close to all the sights. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-decorated, with comfortable bedding. Guests can enjoy the spa, a cross trainer, a weight machine and a vibration plate, and the gym equipment is in good condition. In the morning, a varied buffet breakfast is on offer, with quality hot and cold options to choose from.
The evening buffet food was not up to standard and left the guests feeling dissatisfied with the quality of the food.

Comfortable and central: The hotel was in a great location, just a short walk from the city center. We loved being able to easily explore the nearby attractions and restaurants.
Parking inconvenience: The hotel's parking situation was a bit inconvenient as we had to park a couple of hundred meters away. there was a fee for parking, which added to the overall cost of the stay.

Had a lovely stay at this central hotel over Christmas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had great amenities like air conditioning and heating. The hotel's location was perfect, within a few minutes' walk of the main plaza and cathedral. We also enjoyed the small spa and gym facilities, which offered a variety of equipment and treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The buffet dinner options lacked variety and the hot dishes were often lukewarm. We ended up finding better meals at the local cafes on the nearby main street.

The decor was beautiful and felt very authentic. The rooms were clean and well-decorated. The rooftop terrace was a great place to soak up the sun. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
The breakfast wasn't great, with limited options, but there are plenty of nice cafes nearby to get some tasty food. , the parking was a bit of a hassle, with a steep slope and limited spaces, but the staff were happy to help with any issues.

I had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the hotel. The location was great and the atmosphere of the property added a touch of historic grandeur. The furnishings were of high quality and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The Cafeteria/Bar was a great place to stop for smoothies and lattes. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious getaway.
